Web site update and maintenance

Dandelion Interactive offers a Web site update and maintenance service on both an on-demand or contract basis.

On-demand Web site update and maintenance:

  • Requested update and maintenance work is completed on an as-needed basis at a flat hourly rate of $80 CDN (plus taxes, if applicable).
  • Billing is per quarter-hour (15 minute) with a one-half hour (30 minute) minimum.
  • We aim to complete your work within 5 business days of our receipt of your update and maintenance work request. If the requested work cannot be completed within 5 business days we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe.
  • As soon as your work is completed you will be notified and invoiced. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • On-demand update and maintenance is your best option when changes to your Web site are generally small and/or infrequent.

Contract Web site update and maintenance:

  • Requested update and maintenance work is completed on a contract basis at an hourly rate of $70 CDN (plus taxes, if applicable) for an agreed upon number of hours per month. For example, 3 hours of maintenance per month would be $210 (plus taxes, if applicable) per month.
  • Billing is per quarter-hour (15 minutes) within a minimum of one quarter-hour (15 minutes).
  • We aim to complete your work within 72 hours of our receipt of your update and maintenance work request. If the requested work cannot be made within 72 hours we will notify you.
  • If we anticipate that your requested work will take more time than your contract stipulates then will advise you before proceeding.
  • We will notify you when your work has been completed.
  • If your Web site changes are frequently time-sensitive then turnaround times as fast as 24 hours for update and maintenance work can be made by special arrangement at a higher hourly rate.
  • Under contract maintenance you will be billed one month in advance. Any unused contract hours will be carried forward up to 2 months.
  • Contracts can be changed or canceled by you at any time without penalty but contract fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • Contract maintenance is your best option when changes to your Web site are generally large and/or more frequent.
